If you are getting “RFCAdapter Timout” errors on your SAP PI system , then you can change this value easily to eliminate this problem with following steps.

Go to related SAP server over operating system and open “Config Tool” software

Select : Cluster Data –> Template –> Services –> com.sap.aii.adapter.xi.svc

Go to the right panel of the screen and select the parameter “xiadapter.inbound.timeout.default”

Write the new value on “Custom Value” area and press the “Set Custom Value” button

Click the SAVE (Apply Changes) button

You will see the following popup screen ;

Click the OK button and your custom value will be saved.

But don’t forget that ; for activating the new custom value , you must restart the system first!!!
