Since SAP ABAP kernel version 7.4* , system can handle memory parameters automatically accordingly parameter value of PHYS_MEMSIZE , to use this feature just assign the PHYS_MEMSIZE and use the “Check_Formula” option of SAPPFPAR tool.

Let’s check it with an example ;

Execute the following syntax for our SAP system

Firstly it will show you detail of the “formulas” for related parameters

Then we will get the assigned parameters and the formulas outputs for our SAP system

After this point , we should check/assign the parameter “PHYS_MEMSIZE” and REMOVE the other parameters which are shown above

Then system will calculate the related parameters values and assign them automatically.
