If need to logon a SAP system during to “SAP Upgrade” process probible you should get the following message “Upgrade Still Running Logon Not Possible” and you can’t logon to the system.

For an example ;

I got the following situation while EHP upgrade still working on the system ;

I had to logon to the system to solve the issue but when i tried i got the following message ;

“Upgrade Still Running Logon Not Possible”

The i have connected the system over the OS level and executed the command ;

tp unlocksys <SID> pf=<DRIVE>:\usr\sap\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN<SID>.PFL 

If the return code is “0″ then you should wait appx. 5 min to try to logon again , important point is this..please be patient..

Then you should logon without any problem…
