You may receive an error “User password invalid for identified /RFC/<RFC defination>” while restoring the source system connection via tcode RSA1 after a system refresh operation.
In this case; RSA1 RFC destination test shows an error like shown in the below screen even SM59 RFC test completes with success ;
Then, we should go to transaction SECTORE and execute the main screen to see any possible error or warning status.
As you can see, there is an RFC entry shows with warning status and the message text says “you can delete this entry”.This entry is also our erroneous entry which we tried to use it in our RSA1 transaction.
Now we need to continue with deleting this entry and repeat the RSA1 steps to make our source system connection without any error.
