Your SAP system’s DB13 backup actions can be finished with the error message “SXPG_COMMAND_ EXECUTE failed Reason : program_start_error”, in this case, we need to check “Back-End Configuration” like show in this post.

in this case, we need to check “Back-End Configuration” from the below area ;

DB13 –> Goto –> Back-End Configuration

for our system, all these values are empty while getting the error ;
