SAP HANA corrections are shipped in the form of “Revisions” and “Support Packages”, new capabilities are only comes with SAP HANA Support Package Stacks “SPS” for once a year.

Starting with SAP HANA client 2.4 (April 2019), the SAP HANA client maintains a single public release version, releasing revisions only to the latest version available for a given platform.

Starting with the 2.6 SAP HANA client, there will be a new release each quarter.

Upgrade to HANA 2.0 RoadMap;

If you are using SAP HANA SPS09 or lower release, then you need to upgrade at least version HANA SPS 10  first.SAP Recommends to upgrade your system SPS12 before starting to upgrade HANA .20.

SAP HANA Bug Fixing – Unplanned Maintenance;

SAP provides SAP HANA Maintenance Revisions between RTC of the following SPS and end of maintenance of the respective SPS.

These Maintenance Revisions contain only major bug fixes.
