If you are getting a message in transaction SM21 like “Operating system call getaddrinfo failed (error no. 10109)” then following steps should help you to solve it.
SM21 output should be look like below screen ;
Double click one of the line and found the “Work Process Number” which cause the message
Go to related work process’ log file and find the reason of error , for our case ; “sapmsSID defination not found”
Go to “services” file location
And add the missing entry like below
After that my issue was solved.

Hello ,
1 – Goto transaction SM50 –> Select the related Work Process –> Press “Display File” (CNTRL + SHIFT + F8) button.
2 – Every “sapmsXXX 3600/TCP” entry refers to the seperate SAP system.So if your SID is ABC then you just need to add “sapmsABC 3600/TCP” line and thats it.
