This document describes the upgrade process of the “Business Objects Software” from the version 4.0 to version 4.1 sp4.You can download the related files from following service.sap.com location
SBOP BI PLATFORM 4.1 (SUPPORT PACKAGES AND PATCHES)
Extract the ZIP files and execute the file BI410_sp4.exe
Start the upgrade tool with the file setup.exe
Continue (weiter) the process
Accept and Continue
Insert the related information like below screen
Continue
Upgrade process will be started in a couple of minutes
Continue
After the upgrade process completed then we have to logon “Central Management Concole” and select the products which we want to assign as Auto-Start
Next screen needs a selection about the RAM size for the system
Continue with the Next button
Process should be done with the following screen
