You can get detail informations and status via “Diagnosis Mode” about your SAP HANA system during the START and STOP operations.

To open the “Diagnosis Mode” you can follow the below steps ;

 SAP HANA Studio –> Select the system you want to work on it –> Administration –> Open Diagnosis Mode

You will get a popup which wants “<sid>adm” logon informations from you

On the right side of the screen, you can see “Process” informations of your system

You can check and control system’s .log and .trc files from the “Diagnosis Files” tab

Also you can control “Connections” , “Transactions” etc. informations from the “Emergency Informations” tab
