SAP system’s performance depends on the configuration parameters and the system components. First of all we need to focus on the working methodology of the SAP system.

We have three layers that “Presentation Server” , “Application Server” and “Database Server” response time of the SAP transaction depends on these three layers performance.

Following table shows the “Guideline Values” and “Indicated Problems” of each time value.

We can divide the memory parameters to two different parts for “Dialog Work Process” and “Background Work Process”
