You should install “SAP Host Agent” on every SAP system to enable the status of computer systems to be monitored.SAP Host Agent is installed automatically during the installation of new SAP system with SAP kernel 7.20 or higher.

If you need to install it manually then you can follow the steps ;

- Download the latest version from service.sap.com

SAP Software Download Center –> Support Packages and Patches –> Browse our Download Catalog –> SAP Technology Components –> SAP HOST AGENT –> SAP HOST AGENT 7.20

Select “SAP Host Agent 7.20″

For our example select “Windows on x64 64 bit” and Download the latest version.

Unpack the SAR file on the server

Install the “SAP Host Agent” with following command ;

saphostexec.exe -install

Now you can see the related services installed & started
