You can get the error “DBV-00600: Fatal Error” while DBVERIFY operation, in this case you can try the below steps to eliminate the situation.

DB13 DBVERIFY log ;

First of all we can try to move the related datafile to another storage area ;

IO error status occured,in this case we can check the file id ;

Rebuild the index ;

Create a temporary table (table name = sil) ;

Allocate extent the related datafile ;

Check the file_id and sizes ;

Insert the temporary table with scratch data ;

Continue the process ;

Check the DBV on OS level ;

Drop the temporary table ;

Now you can try the operation on SAP level via DB13 transaction code again…
